Claude would like to extend his thanks to all those who supported him in the last five years.
As of August 2009, Claude has embarked on a new modality that encompasses all others,
and it is with love that he is now concentrating his energy on
"The Reconnection", "Reconnective Healing" and "Foot Reflexology".

He has also decided to continue showing people how to meditate and create spirited drums.

Drum - Ceremonial Drum - Miniature Drum
Mandella - Teach Me How To Create A Drum

All of our Ceremonial Drums are made by hand.

We follow traditions during all parts of the Ceremonial Drum creation. Our Ceremonial Drums are 36 inches in diameter and come with 6 mallets. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks to create your Ceremonial Drum, depending on availability of the hide you select. Your Drum can be made of Elk or Buffalo hide. For a 36 inch Ceremonial drum you will need 2 hides if you would like to have both sides done.

The cost to make a Ceremonial Drum with 6 mallets, no painting and no carving varies between $2000.00 and $2500.00 Canadian. The price difference is due to the type of hide used (Buffalo hide is more expensive than Elk) and the time of the year. If you would like to have your Ceremonial Drum last for many generations, it is recommended to use Buffalo hide. You are responsible for the shipping and handling. When your Ceremonial Drum is completed, we will call you so you can arrange the shipping. Please allow two weeks to create your ceremonial drum.

The Ceremonial Drum on this page is unique and created with the intention to be part of an individual's life and therefore the Ceremonial Drum on this web site is here as an example of the hand made craftsmanship.

Cedar Drums are hand crafted from selected Red Cedar. Each piece of wood is selected for Spirit, color and strength.

Buffalo and Elk raw hide is used to cover these drums. Due to the thickness of the Buffalo hide it is only used on drums 16 inches and over. Elk hide can be used on the smallest to the largest drums. Deer hide is used only on drums 16 inches or less.

This Ceremonial Drum is 36 inches wide and 18 inches in height. The stand is 7 inches from the floor to the base of the Ceremonial Drum. The legs are 18 inches in height and the carving depicts the head of a loon.
